Network Specialist

Job purpose: 

As a Network Specialist, you'll be responsible for maintaining and managing the company's network infrastructure. You will monitor network performance to ensure that all systems are performing optimally. You will also manage all aspects of IT including server maintenance, software updates and troubleshooting problems when they arise.

Minimum Requirements: 

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
• 5 years in an operational role with a strong background on Cisco administration and equipment
• 5 years network infrastructure experience
• 5 years network operations management
• 5 years vendor management
• 5 years understanding of Firewall integration into network services
• In depth knowledge of L2 and L3 routing as well as routing protocols with emphasis on OSPF
• Day to day Operational administration of network infrastructure, this includes but not limited to
• Routers, Switches and Wireless infrastructure
• Relevant IT qualification or Certificate
• 5 years of experience in an Information Technology position.
