Agile Scrum Master

Key purpose:

As an Agile Scrum Master at our company, you'll be responsible for leading the Agile development process and facilitating communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams. You'll be the driving force behind Agile best practices and will work to ensure that the development team is working efficiently and effectively. You'll be responsible for implementing Agile methodologies and practices, tracking progress, and removing obstacles that impede the team's progress.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Serve as the facilitator for Agile development processes and ceremonies, including daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning sessions, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Work closely with the product owner to prioritize the product backlog and ensure that the team is delivering high-quality products on time and within budget.
• Foster a collaborative and productive environment for the development team by facilitating communication, managing conflict, and promoting team building.
• Act as a coach and mentor to the development team, helping them to improve their Agile processes and practices.
• Identify and remove obstacles that impede the team's progress, including managing dependencies and ensuring that the team has the resources they need to succeed.
• Track progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders, including the product owner, development team, and management.

Qualifications and experience:

• 5+ years of experience as an Agile Scrum Master or similar role in a software development environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Scrum Master certification(s) such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
• Strong knowledge of Agile development methodologies and practices, including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
• Proven track record of successfully leading Agile development teams and delivering high-quality products on time and within budget.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
