Key Responsibilities:
Merchant Acquisition

Land and launch high-volume e-commerce clients with robust technical requirements and significant scale.

Own and exceed sales targets.
End-to-End Sales Execution

Lead the entire sales cycle from the first call through to client go-live.

Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Commercial teams to deliver tailored, winning solutions.
Competitive Selling

Clearly articulate The Companys strengths in pricing, technology, and reliability.

Win competitive bids and secure long-term merchant partnerships.
Pipeline Management

Maintain a healthy and accurate pipeline in HubSpot.

Track opportunities, forecast results, and report performance with clarity.
Relationship Building

Build strong, lasting relationships with key merchant decision-makers.

Drive client retention through proactive relationship management and ongoing support.
Market Insight
-
Stay informed about developments in e-commerce, fintech, and payment acquiring.

Share strategic insights that influence The Companys growth trajectory.
What Were Looking For
-
5+ years experience in payments, acquiring, or merchant services, specifically focused on e-commerce.
-
Proven success closing large enterprise deals (R10M+/month in transaction volume).

Strong understanding of checkout flows, PSPs, APIs, fraud/risk management, and reconciliation processes.

Solid commercial knowledge, including interchange, pricing models, margins, and settlement processes.

Experience with Postilion, Eclipse, or other leading payment processing platforms.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence C-suite executives, procurement departments, and technical stakeholders.

Self-starter with agility, strong ethics, and a collaborative mindset.
