Job Purpose:

The purpose of this job is to perform procurement functions at branch level within the procurement department.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 2+ years of Procurement Experience (advantageous)
  • 2+ years Syspro/Qdocs experience (advantageous)
  • Microsoft Office Skills
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles (advantageous)
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Behavioral Dimensions Required:
  • Facilitate compliance with the companys procurement policies at branch level
  • Facilitate procurement requirements at a branch level ( obtaining comparative quotes, aligning with the Preferred Supplier List, etc)
  • Generating purchase orders and communicating these to suppliers.
  • Generating SCT orders and coordinating collections etc.
  • Following up on Active purchase orders.
  • Reviewing and reporting on Active Purchase Orders.
  • Running improvement projects as requested by management.
  • Facilitating supplier credit apps at branch level.
  • Audits
  • General Duties /other Adhoc functions within reason as may be requested by your manager from time to time.
