Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years sales experience in Transport / Logistics Services
  • Proficiency in general MS Office Suite
  • Advanced understanding of Excel & PowerPoint
  • Strong Consultative selling Skills
  • Strong communication skills

  • Presentation skills
  • People orientated, highly motivated and have a friendly attitude
  • Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required

Responsibilities:

  • Sell company services and products to current and potential clients
  • Complete understanding of pricing
  • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals
  • Identify sales prospects and contact these potential clients
  • Prepare presentations, proposals and sales contracts
  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships
  • Prepare a variety of status reports, including sales activities, follow ups and current sales to target reports
  • Communicate new service opportunities, information, special developments or feedback gathered through client visits, to appropriate company staff
  • Communicate new company services offered and changes in structure, or pricing with customers
  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet company core values
  • Identify and resolve client concerns
  • Meet targets set by Branch Manager/Sales Manager/GM Sales
