Minimum Requirements:

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelors degree in computer science.
• 7+ years of strong testing experience.
• 4+ years of experience in Test Automation and microservices.
• Familiar with testing one or more programming languages as appropriate for specific departmental requirements.
• System Design experience (advantageous).

Additional Requirements

• Mathematical Models Testing.
• Intermediate Excel (creation of test harness in Excel).
• ETL Testing.

Responsibilities

• Create, debug, verify, maintain, and update technical test scripts for API testing.
• Test the functionality of systems designed to address business requirements, preventing errors/defects in live systems through change control and improvement.
• Support applications with an understanding of system integration, test planning, scripting, and troubleshooting.
• Review project proposals, evaluate alternatives, provide estimates, and make recommendations.
• Identify potential process improvement areas and recommend approaches.
• Perform automated testing with tools like Git, JMeter, and Postman.
• Understand and execute test processes, including requirement analysis, test scenario design, test case creation, test scripting, and reporting to stakeholders.
• Validate content from XML, databases, and flat files using scripts.
• Write tests in JAVA.
• Test RESTful APIs.
• Work with Atlassian tools such as Confluence and JIRA.
• Use Jenkins to build CI/CD pipelines.
• Utilize database and SQL for data validation (extract and write data queries).
• Automate API testing frameworks.
• Test Webservices (Proxy/Business).
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Develop skills in Selenium scripting, execution, and reporting.
