Sales Consultant
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Act as the internal interface between The Company and the customer
- Develop and maintain effective business relationships with customers
- Provide prompt, courteous, and accurate responses to customer queries regarding orders, quotations, and deliveries
- Promote customer satisfaction by assisting in the development and implementation of plans to improve these levels
- Support the Commercial Business Managers and Key Account Managers
- Compile quotations, coordinate sales orders, and ensure customers are invoiced timeously and in accordance with the commercial governance framework
- Coordinate customer credit facilities and submit the required financial documentation to the relevant financial institutions to ensure on-time payment
- Assist in the development and implementation of plans to improve commercial efficiency
- Support the Customer Relationship Management system and other commercial processes
- Compile and submit monthly reports to the Customer Excellence Manager and Business Managers
Education & Experience:
- A bachelor's degree or diploma in business management, finance, or related qualification
- At least 3 years experience in a sales consultant or customer service role, with an advantage in administration and high-volume office work
- An understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
- Proficient in understanding and managing the quote-to-cash process
- Extensive experience in handling quotations and invoicing, preferably using SAP or a similar ERP system
- Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus
- Knowledgeable about Incoterms 2020
- Knowledge of prepayment and revenue management products is advantageous / Electrical products
