Qualifications and Experience 
  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • Experience in Debriefing & Dispatching
Technical Competencies (Knowledge/Systems/Legislation)
  • 1-2 Years experience in a warehouse environment with material handling experience
  • Familiar with stores and warehouse operations
  • Licence to drive a Forklift truck (warehouse dependent)
  • Awareness of Dangerous Goods Handling
Key Performance Areas (KPA) & Activities
1. CHECKING AND VERIFICATION of Dispatched & Debriefed 
  • Review and check picked stock for accuracy, ensuring all products are correct, scanned, and in good condition before loading for dispatch.
  • Receive stock from CDC, Factory & Interbranch transfers ensure correct quantity and quality.
  • Issue out scrap to Frys Metals.
  • Execute daily activities to ensure receiving, inspecting, packing, storing, picking, and dispatching of quality products.
  • Scan prepared products before dispatch or collection.
  • Load goods for dispatch ensure correct product & quantity.
  • Ensure delivery of materials to customers aligns with company standards.
  • Assist with weekly & monthly stock counts.
  • Handle all claims and check & charge batteries as per policy and procedure.
  • Perform regular voltage checks on inbound and outbound batteries.
  • Report & document items not in accordance with predefined standards.
  • Complete the debriefing process as per policy and procedure.
  • Handle and move stock for relabeling between brands as per policy and procedure.
  • Ensure clean and accurate products are loaded.
  • Conduct warehouse checks to ensure aging stock is sent out first in line with FIFO principles.
2. CUSTOMER SERVICE 
  • Support activities required to ensure customer satisfaction for both internal & external stakeholders.
  • Carry out work instructions as directed by Supervisor/Manager, including:
    • Receiving activities
    • Cleaning of batteries
    • Re-labelling as required
    • Debriefing, reconciling invoices, collecting documentation, and handling reverse logistics items
    • Checking each invoice for date, full name, and signature
    • Maintaining accurate administration, records, and reconciliations
    • Attending to driver or delivery issues that may arise
    • Addressing receiving & dispatching matters in a timely manner and reporting to relevant role players
3. COMPLIANCE AND HOUSEKEEPING 
  • Adhere to all policies and processes that ensure a safe working environment.
  • Keep paperwork up to date (Voltage checks, picking slips, RMB scanned report).
  • Operate safely, complying with all health, safety, and environmental requirements.
  • Wear all required PPE as per health and safety standards.
  • Ensure that lifting and maneuvering of products comply with SOPs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in work areas for operational efficiency.
  • Comply with relevant regulations and procedures.
  • Identify and report risks or areas of concern.
  • Ensure FIFO stock management and service level maintenance.
  • Promote health and safety awareness and address unsafe practices promptly.
  • Escalate and move low-voltage stock for charging.
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards within the warehouse.
  • Implement and maintain quality control processes to minimize errors and damages.
  • Inspect warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyor systems) and report any deviations to management.
