Job Purpose: 

The purpose of this role is to assist the Production Planner with ensuring that the right resources are available internally when required to meet the customer volume demands. Assist to determine the production capacity needed by an organisation to meet changing demands for its products and understand how the business operates and plans for future capacity requirements. Also, to assists with planning activities to ensure targets are met and that it optimizes manufacturing efficiency, stock levels and costs.

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Knowledge & understanding on order fulfilment cycles
  • Business & process flow experience
  • Ability to integrate business demand requirements with operations and logistics
  • Any distribution requirement planning will be advantageous
  • Proven track record within planning in a manufactory environment
  • Geographic knowledge would be advantageous
  • Diploma / Degree in Operations management or any other relevant tertiary degree / diploma
  • 2-3 years’ production planning experience within a manufacturing or related environment is essential
  • Experience in ERP systems (SYSPRO knowledge will be advantageous)
  • MS Office knowledge and high proficiency in Excel
