Minimum requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant Qualification
  • Must have cross-border experience (SADC)
  • 15 to 20 years experience at Board level
  • Strong Leader

Responsibilities: 

  • Prepare financial models for presentation at Board level and to predict outcomes
  • Structuring financial deals
  • Budgeting
  • Ongoing exploration of automation opportunities, scalability and efficiency
  • Project management
  • Develop new finance processes where required and create capacity within respective teams to support new processes
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and tax legislation (VAT, Income tax and transfer pricing legislation)
  • Work with the Group CFO and key business partners to agree on base set of reporting analytics
  • Treasury and Risk Management
  • Ability to analyse performance of the operation and to determine areas of potential cost reduction, improvement and policy and process change
  • Approving payments and granting credit
  • Legal contract reviews
