Data Analyst
Responsibilities:

Interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques, and provide ongoing reports.

Develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimise statistical efficiency and data quality.

Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources.
-
Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
-
Filter and clean data, and review computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems.
-
Work closely with management to prioritise business and information needs.
-
Locate and define new process improvement opportunities.
Requirements:
-
Proven working experience as a Data Analyst.
-
Technical expertise regarding data models, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
-
Strong knowledge of and experience retrieving data from databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).

Advanced knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analysing large datasets (Excel, etc.).
-
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
-
Ability to design, document, and develop reports and dashboards in Jasper Report Server, QlikSense, and NPrinting.

Enthusiasm and passion to develop a career within a multidisciplinary software development environment.

Ability to define and follow coding standards.

Ability to work well under pressure and compromise to meet deadlines.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly convey and absorb technical ideas, suggestions, and solutions.

Ability to work in a team as well as independently.

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics.
