We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to work with one of Australia's oldest and most respected quantity surveying organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Data Collection for Depreciation Schedule production
- Reading through client-submitted information and selecting appropriate data
- Requesting any missing information from our in-house Admin Team
2. Property research for Depreciation Schedule Production
- Sourcing and Saving property photos online
- Sourcing and Saving floor plans online
- Measuring floor area from Google Earth images and/or floor plans
- Recognizing and noting any renovations done to a property, based on online photos
- Searching Council records for any further details regarding the property
3. Depreciation Schedule Production
- Measuring and Pricing fixtures and fitting within properties
- Measuring and Pricing original construction costs of Properties
- Measuring and Pricing renovations completed on properties
4. Depreciation Schedule Generation
- Formatting Excel spreadsheets so that the Depreciation Schedules are presented well
- Adding Backgrounds and Inserting pages to PDFs
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or other related courses
- Minimum of 1-2 years of working experience as Quantity Surveyor or Estimator
- Experience in a property or construction related field
- Good Microsoft Excel Knowledge
- Excellent English Comprehension and Communication skills
