Salary Range: PHP 18,000 PHP 20,000

Work Schedule: 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM PHT

Job Description:

We are currently looking for an IT Specialist who is responsible for setting up, managing, and troubleshooting the technology systems that Bohol Offshoring uses to maintain computer and software networks. Their duties include responding to hardware problems, updating system software, and tracking the data and communications used on their network.

Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to computers, servers, and networking equipment.
• Provide technical support to end-users for software and hardware problems.
• Set up and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot network connectivity issues, and ensure network security.
• Install, update, and manage operating systems and software applications.
• Maintain hardware inventory and perform routine equipment upgrades or replacements.
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures, including firewalls, antivirus software, and intrusion detection systems.
• Conduct security audits and ensure data protection and compliance with security policies.
• Create and manage data backup and recovery solutions to safeguard against data loss.
• Develop and test disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime in case of system failures.
• Assist users with technical issues, providing guidance and training when needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to email, printers, and other peripherals.
• Maintain documentation of system configurations, network diagrams, and IT procedures.
• Create and update IT policies and procedures for the organization.

Requirements:

• 3 years IT experience
• Technical Skills (such as Windows, MacOs, Networking, software troubleshooting)
• Certifications related to IT
• Problem-Solving Skills
• Communication Skill
• Attention to Detail
• Adaptability
• Knowledge in Internet security
• Understanding of how networking works
• Project management
• Knowledge of programming language
• Knowledge of multiple operating systems
• Ability to perform system updates.
• Ability to address connectivity problems.
