As a Sales Manager with our client, you will be part of a dynamic and innovative team dedicated to providing sustainable solutions for the renewable energy industry. 

You will play a crucial role in driving the company's business growth and achieving sales targets. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective sales strategies, managing key accounts, and leading a team of sales professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business development and sales, with a focus on technical solutions in the industrial environment, particularly in the renewable energy market.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute the business strategy: Work closely with the leadership team to define and implement the sales strategy to achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales goals for Configured Solutions intake in the assigned region.
  2. Team leadership and collaboration: Lead and motivate a team of sales professionals, fostering a culture of collaboration, excellence, and achievement. Collaborate with other team members to review and adjust the sales strategy based on performance, customer preferences, and market requirements.
  3. New business development: Identify and cultivate new opportunities by working with Dealers, end-users, and industry contacts. Network proactively to build relationships, increase brand awareness, and prospect for new sales opportunities.
  4. Key account management: Manage and develop key accounts, building strong relationships and securing future business. Liaise closely with these accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  5. Sales process management: Follow up on leads, identify profitable opportunities, and successfully manage the sales process from initial contact to closure. Work closely with the Technical Team to develop solution concepts and prepare proposals that effectively address customer needs.
  6. Sales reporting and forecasting: Provide regular reports and feedback to management on sales forecast, activity levels, and the competitive landscape within the targeted industries. Make recommendations on adjusting the business strategy and technology offering to increase sales and market presence.
  7. Trade shows and marketing: Participate in annual trade shows nationally and regionally as applicable. Assist in the development of annual marketing plans and key customer business plans. Promote and market the brand and technology in the assigned territory.


Basic Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business, with a focus on sales or marketing.
  • 3-5 years of experience selling technical solutions, preferably in an industrial environment, with a track record of achieving sales targets.
  • 3 years of experience in the air pollution control market, demonstrating a solid understanding of the industry.
  • Excellent presentation, selling, and closing skills.
  • Strong leadership qualities with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with professionals from various departments.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Quote Tools, and CRM.
  • AutoCAD skills are helpful.
  • Thorough understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements in core markets.
  • Willingness to learn new technology and accept personal responsibility for professional development and performance.
  • General knowledge of industrial ventilation design for standard air applications.
  • Familiarity with legal requirements for business contracts.
  • Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and handle various variables.
  • Ability to travel domestically, approximately 50% to 70% of working days.
