Our client is one of the leading names in international private wealth and trust disputes. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint an ambitious Associate to join their highly regarded Private Client & Trusts team.
This is not a general litigation role.
The team advises trustees, financial institutions, family offices and ultra-high-net-worth individuals on complex, high-value and often multi-jurisdictional trust and private wealth disputes.
The work is intellectually challenging, commercially significant and frequently involves some of the most sophisticated trust structures in the international market.
The Opportunity
You will work closely with recognised leaders in the field and gain exposure to:
International trust litigation
Fiduciary and beneficiary disputes
Trustee applications and contentious trust matters
Estate and succession disputes
Asset tracing and recovery
Cross-border litigation involving multiple jurisdictions
High-value disputes involving ultra-high-net-worth individuals and family offices
Candidate Profile
We are interested in speaking with lawyers who demonstrate strong technical ability, excellent judgement and a genuine interest in contentious private wealth work.
You will likely possess:
Qualification as a solicitor or barrister in a recognised common law jurisdiction
Between 1 and 6 years' PQE
Strong academics throughout your education
Experience gained in litigation, dispute resolution, trusts or private client matters
Excellent drafting and analytical skills
Strong attention to detail
The ability to manage complex matters and competing deadlines effectively
Particular interest will be given to candidates who can demonstrate:
Previous exposure to trust or fiduciary disputes
Experience of cross-border litigation
An interest in developing a long-term career within private wealth disputes
Strong client-handling skills and commercial awareness
