Senior Associate — Banking & Finance | Jersey

A market-leading international law firm is seeking an experienced Banking & Finance lawyer to join its established and growing team in Jersey.

This is a genuine opportunity to work alongside leading practitioners on complex, high-value matters for global blue-chip clients, financial institutions and intermediaries, as part of a sustained expansion across the Channel Islands.

The role

• Advising on a broad range of Banking & Finance matters with technical depth and commercial awareness
• Running files independently while supporting partners and senior counsel on complex transactions
• Contributing to business development, know-how, and the wider growth of the practice
• Maintaining strong utilisation, billing discipline and profitability in line with firm expectations

Candidate requirements

• Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 5 years' PQE in Banking & Finance
• Strong academic record
• Current Banking & Finance experience gained at a recognised international or offshore firm
• Commercially driven, technically excellent, and genuinely ambitious
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Willing and able to relocate to Jersey (existing Channel Islands experience advantageous but not essential)
