Business Development & Marketing Executive (Legal Rankings & Submissions)

A leading international law firm with a strong presence across the Middle East and North Africa is seeking an experienced Business Development & Marketing Officer to take ownership of its legal directory submissions, awards strategy, and international profile-building initiatives.
This is not a general marketing role. Applications are only encouraged from candidates with direct experience managing submissions to legal directories such as Chambers & Partners, Legal 500 and/or IFLR1000.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the firm's submissions to Chambers, Legal 500, IFLR1000 and other legal directories.
Draft compelling submissions, deal highlights, rankings content and referee lists.
Manage legal awards submissions, including Deal of the Year and industry recognition programmes.
Coordinate international conference participation, sponsorships and speaking opportunities.
Organise business development trips, including research, meeting schedules and briefing materials for partners.
Plan and deliver webinars in collaboration with practice groups and external organisations.
Maintain rankings, awards and business development databases and reporting.
Candidate Requirements
3-5+ years' experience in business development, marketing or rankings submissions within a law firm or professional services environment.
Proven experience preparing Chambers, Legal 500 and/or IFLR1000 submissions.
Exceptional written English and drafting skills.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
Experience coordinating senior stakeholders and international business development initiatives.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
Knowledge of the legal sector is essential.
Familiarity with the Middle East legal market would be advantageous.
