A leading offshore law firm is seeking a talented Senior Associate to join its market-leading Insolvency & Dispute Resolution practice in Jersey.

This is an opportunity to work on some of the most sophisticated offshore disputes in the market, advising international financial institutions, insolvency practitioners, corporates, trustees, directors, shareholders and high-net-worth individuals on complex cross-border matters.

The role offers exposure to a broad range of high-value contentious work, including insolvency and restructuring disputes, financial services litigation, trust disputes, asset tracing and recovery, enforcement proceedings and commercial litigation with international elements.

Working alongside highly regarded practitioners, you will play a key role in advising clients on complex matters while contributing to the continued growth of a leading disputes practice.

Key Responsibilities

Advising on complex insolvency, restructuring and commercial disputes.
Acting on financial services litigation and regulatory-related contentious matters.
Handling trust and private wealth disputes, often involving multiple jurisdictions.
Advising on injunctions, disclosure applications, enforcement actions and asset recovery strategies.
Supporting corporate and transactional teams on dispute-related issues.
Building and developing client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives.

Candidate Profile

Qualified lawyer with approximately 6–10 years' PQE.
Strong experience gained within a leading international, City, offshore or recognised disputes practice.
Proven background in insolvency, restructuring, commercial litigation or financial services disputes.
Excellent academic credentials and strong technical drafting skills.
Commercially aware with the ability to manage complex matters and client relationships.
Offshore experience is advantageous but not essential.
