IT Project Manager (Infrastructure)
Location: Monterrey
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated IT Project Manager with expertise in infrastructure and a deep understanding of the PMO (Project Management Office) methodology. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in managing IT infrastructure projects and will be responsible for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure of infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management:
- Lead and manage IT infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- PMO Methodology:
- Implement and adhere to PMO best practices and standards.
- Collaborate with the PMO team to ensure alignment with company-wide project management standards.
- Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and the PMO team.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
- Resolve any issues and conflicts related to the project.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and report on the progress of risk mitigation actions.
- Resource Management:
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Evaluate project outcomes and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in IT infrastructure and PMO methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in IT project management, specifically in infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of PMO methodologies and best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
