About the Role
The Quality Assurance role provides you with a unique opportunity to join a high-growth software company. Our client seeks someone who is a critical thinker and understands product workflows and how users typically interact with applications.
What you'll do when you get here:
- Collaborate with the Engineering team to understand requirements and ensure those requirements are met
- Implement agile processes that drive predictable, high-quality delivery, ensuring a high-quality experience for customers
- Ensure a bug-free and high-quality product is delivered to our customers
- Collaborate with Test Automation Engineers to develop and implement test plans for your squad
- Be a proactive member of the QA team and assigned squad who finds issues before customers
- Manage customer issues and verify implemented solutions
- Work with QA and squad team members for deployment and development timelines
- Perform manual Jira ticket verification
- Perform manual regression and exploratory testing in support of product deployments
- Promote a culture of innovation, collaboration, and customer-facing experimentation
What you need to have:
- 4+ years of QA testing experience
- Understanding and experience working with an agile product lifecycle model
- Knowledge of Software Quality Assurance methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Knowledge of Jira or other project management tools
- Experience with planning, documenting test cases and executing manual test cases for Web applications and/or mobile applications.
- Knowledge of APIs and using Postman for debugging
- Experience with using browser Developer Tools
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with principles of good UX, UI and design-centric thinking
- Strong communications skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with the Test Automation Engineers to provide a comprehensive QA support solution for the company
- ISTQB Tester certification a strong plus
