With continued investment and additional store openings on the horizon, this is an exciting time to join our clients management team. The company is actively seeking experienced retail managers, offering a competitive salary package ranging from 55,000 - 65,000, alongside a generous benefits package, including an attractive 20% staff discount with one of Irelands leading supermarket chains.
Comprehensive training will be provided in various locations around Munster such as Limerick, Cork, with a duration of one to three months, depending on experience and suitability. This role presents an excellent opportunity to gain expertise in premium food retail, enhance product knowledge, and develop a deeper understanding of food nutrition.
Ideal candidates will have a strong management background in financial results-driven, custom-er-focused environments, such as fast-food chains, fresh food retail operations, or large-format food retail businesses with robust SOPs.

Requirements for Senior Branch Manager
- A minimum of 5 years recent experience managing teams in fast food or restaurant chain, fresh food retail operations, or large-format food retail businesses within a corporate structure and SOPs
- Confident leader who can motivate and challenge others to deliver excellence
- Proven track record in driving operational standards across the shop and enforcing these procedures.
- Strong commercial acumen, good knowledge of costs, sales, profits, and other related financial objectives
- Possess an excellent track record of Team Building and Leadership
- Implement established business strategy, assigning roles and tasks to dedicated team members based on strengths and abilities
- Ability to make quick decisions and organise in a busy fast paced retail shop
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all departments
- Monitor and manage business operational plan including stock management, budgets and profit and loss
- Extensive knowledge of Health & Safety, legal policies and procedures including HACCP protocols
Responsibilities for this Retail Manager Job
- Maintain the very high levels of Health & Safety, legal policies and procedures including HACCP protocols
- Act as a Brand ambassador and promote the brand a professional organisation to work in
- Be responsible for the timely opening and closing of the shop
- Supervise and delegate work to your teams to meet quality and on-time delivery requirements; address current challenges and communicate to appropriate leadership
- Manage workflow and ensure team members fully comprehend responsibilities of dele-gated tasks
- Monitor team performance and provide performance evaluations, constructive feedback, mentorship, and discipline if ultimately required
- Maintain the very high levels of Health & Safety, legal policies and procedures including HACCP protocols
- Maintain timekeeping and personnel records
- Prompt and accurate book-keeping for the shop
- Rostering for the shop when required
- Oversee and sign off on ordering for the shop for all categories
