About the job Resident Manager

Defines, analyze, and evaluate the planning of the operations of the rooms division area, considering levels of occupancy and projections, and evaluating the necessary resources for the operations.Coordinate, control, and evaluate service and quality levels of the Rooms Division operations as an area, by means of internal and external surveys (social media), generating preventive and/or corrective actions in the operation, aiming at guaranteeing the achievement of Guest service standards defined by the Corporate Office.Coordinates communications between the various areas, in order to guarantee the achievement of Guest service standards defined by the Corporate Office.Ensures that all rooms releases for service by Housekeeper to the Front Desk and Diamond Club meet the established quality standards, based on the parameters established for that purpose.Supervises that the revenue derived from Room Upselling satisfies the goals established in the monthly budget.Supervise that the revenue derived from the sale of Incidentals, such as: Cabanas, Romantic Dinners, and Packages, as the area in charge of making those sales.Represents the General Manager, in his absence.Participates in the elaboration of the annual budget of the hotel, ensuring the fulfillment of the objectives of the Rooms Division area.Participate in the preparation of the CAPEX Investment budget1, ensuring its implementation in the terms defined in said budget.Ensure that the goals established in the Quality system for the various departments of the Rooms Division are reached and accomplished.Serves Guests when special and important situations arise during their stay at the hotel.Support the General Director of the hotel in directing and controlling the operation of the hotel, acting as a link between the hotel direction and the various operating departments.Ensures the emergencies protocol ́s implementation for Risks and Hurricanes in order to comply with the established legal guidelines.Check that accidents resulting from the Hotel ́s operation are properly addressed to the corresponding insurance agent.Keeps daily communication with marketing managers and Travel Smart Member Service and ensure that they meet the stablished company guidelines.Follow up the social networks comments that correspond the Hotel ́s Operation.Perform executive watch guards to verify the Hotel ́s operation.Other Tasks & Duties.Perform his/her role in the daily briefing of the department, in order tostay informed and updated on the relevant points of the operation of the hotel and execute if necessary.Fulfill the orders and instructions of the immediate boss in the regular exercise of his managerial faculties.Ensures & comply with the standards of personal presentation and uniformity establishedby the management of the hotel in order to always project a professional and impeccable image.Always look forward the company ́s Philosophy, Values, Rules, Policies, Service Culture and Goals to assurance the service promise made to the guests.Contribute to safeguard employee ́s physical integrity as well as the properties by accomplishing Safety and Health rules and standards
