Description of Responsibilities.

  • Train and advise other technicians on the use and maintenance of electronic equipment.
  • Use tools and instruments suitable for the job, such as soldering irons, multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.
  • Corrective and preventive maintenance of the hotel's electronic systems, such as lighting, air conditioning, security systems, among others. This includes the repair of electronic equipment, the alignment and calibration of cables and wiring.
  • Update reports and maintain inventory.
  • Read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Provide technical support to hotel employees to resolve issues with electronic equipment.
  • Track and report the progress of projects related to the hotel's electronic systems.
  • Conduct system evaluations and make appropriate recommendations to modify the design or repair equipment as needed, as well as comply with safety and quality standards at work.
  • Other Tasks & Activities.
  • Perform their respective role in the department's briefing to be informed and updated on the relevant problems of the hotel's operation, taking into account what is necessary for the execution of the daily task.
  • Comply with the standards of personal presentation and uniformity established by the Hotel Management to ensure the professional and impeccable projection of each of the Hosts of their department.
  • Promote compliance with the philosophy, values, policies and objectives of the company among the different members of the department, to help fulfill the promise of service made to the Guest.
  • Contribute to safeguarding the physical integrity of employees and property, complying with health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Participate in Blue Diamond Resorts' ESG program.
  • Fulfill the instructions, tasks and responsibilities assigned by the immediate superior, complying with the service provided by the hotel.

  • Required:
    Know the basic principles of electricity and electronics.
    Have at least two years of experience installing, repairing and maintaining electronic equipment,
    security systems, lighting, sound and telecommunications.
    Have professional training in electronics, electricity, or related areas.
    Teamwork and communicating effectively with other professionals.
    Results-oriented.
    Professional ethics.
    Fluent in written and verbal English communication skills.

    Degree in Electrical or Technical Engineering/Electronic Technology
