Painter

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for painting interior and exterior surfaces of buildings, structures, and equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in painting techniques, knowledge of paint types and application methods, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, scraping, patching, and priming as needed.
• Select and mix paint colors to match specifications or customer preferences.
• Apply paint, stain, varnish, or other finishes to surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Use ladders, scaffolding, or other equipment to reach high or hard-to-access areas.
• Ensure proper ventilation and safety precautions are followed when working with paint and chemicals.
• Clean and maintain painting equipment and tools, including brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
• Work collaboratively with other team members and contractors to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Follow established procedures and safety guidelines to prevent accidents, injuries, and damage to property.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning up debris and disposing of hazardous materials properly.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a painter in a professional setting.
• Strong knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and materials.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks requiring bending, kneeling, and lifting.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work independently or as part of a team.
