Pool Attendant

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pool Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing pool equipment, ensuring water quality and safety, and performing routine inspections and maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, knowledge of pool chemistry and filtration systems, and a commitment to excellence in pool maintenance.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks on pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, and chemical feed systems.
• Monitor and maintain proper chemical balance and water quality in accordance with industry standards and health regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections of pool facilities, identifying and addressing any maintenance issues or safety concerns.
• Clean and vacuum pools, skimmers, and filters as needed to maintain cleanliness and clarity.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with pool equipment and systems, and perform repairs or replacements as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, water test results, and equipment inspections.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures for pool facilities, including draining, cleaning, and winterizing pools as needed.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance projects.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations related to pool operations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training in pool maintenance or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in pool maintenance or a related field.
• Strong technical skills, including knowledge of pool equipment, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Understanding of pool chemistry and water treatment methods.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose problems with pool equipment and systems.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
