About the job People and Culture Staff Manager

The ideal candidate will be passionate about human resources, possess strong organizational and communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. The Assistant HR Manager will work closely with the HR Manager to support various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training and development, and HR policy enforcement.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in recruitment efforts, including job postings, resume screening, and coordinating interviews
  • Participate in the onboarding process for new employees, including conducting orientations and ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed
  • Support employee relations initiatives, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
  • Assist with performance management processes, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback sessions
  • Coordinate training and development programs for employees at all levels
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HRIS data
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
  • Stay up-to-date on HR best practices and employment laws to ensure compliance

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • years of experience in human resources or a related field
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred but not required
