About the job Kitchen Techician

Description of Responsibilities:

  • Management of tools, supervision of the personnel in charge and coordination with external companies. They must ensure that all resources are available and in good condition to carry out the necessary tasks.
  • Verify the status of the work assigned to kitchen maintenance, to follow up on the progress of corrective measures.
  • Verify the maintenance of cleanliness and order in the work area, to comply with hygiene and safety regulations.
  • Requests and follows up along with the Warehouse Manager of the requested spare parts, for the repair of the equipment under their responsibility.
  • Perform inspection tours in the different kitchens of the hotel, to ensure the proper functioning of the operation equipment.
  • They keep themselves updated of new technical or legal requirements requested, to comply with established safety standards.
  • Report the status of the work assigned to their immediate boss, as well as anomalies observed during his shift, to optimize the operation of the equipment.
  • Required:
    Have professional training in electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, or similar.
    Have at least one year of experience in the maintenance of industrial kitchen equipment and facilities.
    Fluent in written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Desirable:
    Certifications or courses in kitchen equipment maintenance are valued.
  • Education & Certificates:
    Technique or technology in equipment maintenance.
