Senior Chef De Partie

We are seeking an experienced Senior Chef de Partie to join our client for the busy summer period as a Temp chef until 13th September (full time 40-50 hours a week). The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food preparation, cooking, and contributing to the delivery of exceptional dining experiences.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a professional chef passionate about culinary excellence and committed to maintaining high standards of food safety and service. You will have a strong background in fresh food and rosette standard would be an advantage but not essential, ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest quality in line with our standards.

My client has various venues so you can choose to be based form one or roam across all venues giving you the flexibility and variety. Outside catering and events are also available.

Responsibilities

• Lead your section within the kitchen, ensuring smooth operation during service
• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes with precision, consistency, and attention to detail
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
• Ensure cleanliness of workstations before, during, and after service

Experience

• Proven experience in a similar role within a busy restaurant or hotel environment
• Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary practices
• Strong understanding of food safety standards and HACCP procedures
• Experience in meal preparation for diverse dietary requirements
• Previous experience serving in a high-volume setting is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team effectively under pressure

This is a temporary role with 40-50 hours a week with an immediate start running through until 11th September. There may be the possibility for a permanent role at the end of the contract but not definite.
