About the Role
As a Retail Staff, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and maintaining smooth daily operations within the store. Youll engage with customers, assist them in making purchases, handle payments, and ensure the store is stocked, clean, and inviting. Your role will be pivotal in creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere that aligns with BLR WORLDs commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Service
Engage with visitors to understand their needs and recommend suitable products.
Provide accurate product information and exceptional service to enhance customer satisfaction.
Create a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits.
Payment Handling
Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
Manage cash, card, and other payment methods securely and in line with company policies.
Handle refunds, exchanges, and promotions with professionalism.
Stock Management
Monitor and restock shelves to maintain an organised and appealing store layout.
Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory audits.
Report low stock levels or discrepancies promptly.
Store Presentation
Maintain cleanliness and organisation throughout the store.
Set up displays and signage to promote key products and campaigns.
Knowledge Building
Stay informed about products, promotions, and store procedures.
Share insights with customers and contribute to a knowledgeable team environment.
Take an interest and be able to discuss the main themes of the pavilion where the store is located
Candidate Requirements
Friendly and approachable personality with a customer-first attitude.
Comfortable using technology, including point-of-sale systems and inventory tools.
Reliable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.
Previous experience in retail or customer service is desirable but not essential.
Soft Skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenges with professionalism.
A proactive and team-oriented approach to work.
Basic numeracy and accuracy for handling transactions and stock counts.
Familiarity with point-of-sale systems (training will be provided).
Attention to detail for maintaining stock and store presentation.
Working details:
Flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
