Job Description & Work Experience

Project Control and Financial Analysis:

  • Monitor and analyze the financial performance of ongoing projects.
  • Prepare detailed project financial reports and provide insights to project managers.
  • Develop and maintain project financial models to forecast performance and profitability.

Finance Business Support:

  • Act as a financial advisor to project managers, offering financial insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with project teams to gather relevant data and assumptions for financial analysis.
  • Facilitate meetings with project stakeholders to discuss financial performance and projections.

Cost Management and Reporting:

  • Track and report on project costs, ensuring alignment with budgets and forecasts
  • Identify variances between actual and forecasted project costs, providing explanations and recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Support the preparation of financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.

Financial Planning and Strategy:

  • Assist in the development of financial strategies for projects, including risk assessment and mitigation.
  • Conduct scenario analysis to evaluate the financial impact of potential project decisions.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic project initiatives.

Compliance and Process Improvement:

  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to project finances.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of project financial management.
  • Maintain and update documentation related to project financial processes and procedures.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. MBA or relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of FP&A experience

  • Previous experience in a Big four

  • Proficiency in financial modelling, analysis, and reporting.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.

  • Excellent proficiency in Arabic and English, both written and spoken.

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience in the art exhibition industry is a plus.

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
