About the Role

As Coordinator - Japan, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Expo 2025 journey, including RFP proposals and conducting research for our Osaka and Japan-wide partners. The role will require you to be dedicated and organized to support our global teams with multiple projects within the Japanese market.

Responsibilities

- Support the preparation and submission of Expo 2025 RFP proposals, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with requirements.
- Conduct thorough research on market trends, competitors, and potential partners in Osaka and Japan to inform business strategies and proposals.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between BLR WORLD and local partners, stakeholders, and government agencies in Japan.
- Assist in the development and implementation of marketing and promotional activities targeted at Japanese audiences.
- Provide logistical support for meetings, events, and site visits, including scheduling, venue coordination, and interpretation as needed.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of strategies, objectives, and deliverables related to projects in Japan.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments, policies, and regulations affecting event management and partnerships in Japan.

Role Requirements

Fluent in Japanese and English.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communication, Marketing, International Relations, or related field.
- Previous experience in event management, business development, or marketing, preferably in the Japanese market.

Hard Skills Required

- Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to gather and synthesize information from various sources.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
-Competent in G-suites and Adobe software

Soft Skills Required

- Proactive mindset with a strong sense of initiative and problem-solving abilities.
- Cultural sensitivity and ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment.

Location & Commitments

- Full-time, contracted.
- Work 5 days a week (flexibility on days according to project needs)
- 9 hours a day, including a 1-hour lunch break.
- Office based in Dubai with regional and international travel as required.
- Likely that the location will transfer to Osaka, Japan (once requested by the company).
