About the role

BLR Doha is seeking an experienced Training Content Developer to design and develop high-quality training materials tailored to the tourism sector. This role requires an in-depth understanding of the various players in the industry, including destination management companies (DMCs) and travel agencies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design, training methodologies, and content creation, ensuring the delivery of engaging and effective learning experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop training content, including e-learning modules, manuals, presentations, and workshops, specifically tailored to the needs of the tourism industry.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify training needs and ensure accuracy and relevance of content.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to keep training materials up to date.
  • Customize training programs to address the needs of different stakeholders, including DMCs, travel agencies, and hospitality providers.
  • Design and implement interactive and engaging learning experiences to enhance knowledge retention.
  • Ensure all training materials align with company objectives and industry standards.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback mechanisms.
  • Support the delivery of training sessions when needed, ensuring seamless learning experiences.
  • Maintain and update digital training resources, including LMS content and online learning tools.

Candidate Requirements

  • Must be located in the MENA region.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in content development, preferably in the training and tourism sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of destination management companies (DMCs), travel agencies, and tourism operations.
  • Proven experience in instructional design, adult learning principles, and training content creation.
  • Familiarity with Qatar's tourism landscape and the local business environment.

  • Instructional Design: Ability to apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Research & Analysis: Capability to assess training needs and develop relevant content accordingly.
  • Basic Graphic: Ability to create visually appealing training materials using tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.
  • Project Management: Ability to plan and execute content development projects within deadlines.

Location & Commitments
