About the role: As a Training Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the training and development of Desert Safari Guides. Your expertise will be integral in delivering high-quality training programs tailored to the desert safari experience. This role offers an opportunity to apply your extensive knowledge of training and learning development to help shape exceptional experiences for both guides and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Development and Delivery:
    • Assist in the development and revisions of comprehensive training content and materials tailored to desert safari operations, including safety protocols, customer service, and environmental conservation.

    • Deliver engaging and informative training sessions for Desert Safari Guides, ensuring they are well-prepared to provide exceptional safari experiences.

  • Quality Assurance:
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.

    • Continuously refine and improve training content and delivery methods based on evaluation results and industry developments.


Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience in training and development, particularly within the tourism or adventure travel sector.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to effectively deliver training and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

  • Knowledge of current industry trends and best practices related to desert safaris is encouraged but not required.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment.

Soft Skills & Experience:

  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate participants.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing training and operational challenges.

  • Proficiency in Arabic and English

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with Destination Management Companies, clients, and internal teams.

Location & Commitments:

  • Training Day rate (Consultancy Agreement, based on the requirements)

  • Based in Qatar

  • Willingness to commit to onsite support and coordination as required.
