Exhibition Designer is needed for a Government-Backed Philanthropic Foundation ( Client Confidential)
The Exhibition Designer will lead the exhibition design process from conceptualization to execution, ensuring that the museums themes and narratives are translated into engaging and interactive displays. The success candidate will create innovative design concepts that align with the museums vision and goals.
The exhibition designer will collaborate closely with curators, content planners, and digital teams to integrate content seamlessly into the exhibit design. Facilitate productive design discussions and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure a unified vision.
Roles & Responsibilities
Visual Storytelling:
- Utilize your design skills to convey compelling stories and messages through visuals, layouts, and interactive elements.
- Balance aesthetics, information dissemination, and engagement to create a unique visitor experience.
Vendor Management:
- Identify, select, and manage external vendors and contractors involved in the exhibition design process.
- Oversee the execution of design projects, ensuring they meet quality standards and deadlines.
Technical Expertise:
- Use your expertise in exhibition design software, computer-aided design (CAD), and other relevant tools to create detailed plans, renderings, and layouts.
Prototype Development:
- Develop and present design prototypes and mock-ups to communicate concepts and ideas to stakeholders and team members.
Installation Oversight:
- Oversee the installation and setup of exhibition elements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to design plans.
User-Centered Design:
- Create designs that prioritize visitor comfort, engagement, accessibility, and safety.
Trends and Research:
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative design approaches in the museum and exhibition field.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelors degree in Exhibition Design, Architecture, Fine Arts, or related field
