Tasks & Responsibilities:

Architectural Design management:

  • Lead the architectural design process from conceptualization through execution, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
  • Develop innovative designs that embody the museum's vision and objectives, enhancing the overall visitor experience.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with curators, content planners, and digital teams to develop integrated and cohesive designs.
  • Facilitate productive design discussions and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to maintain a unified vision and approach.

Building Facilities:

  • Leverage your design expertise to create cohesive and functional designs that meet both aesthetic and practical requirements.
  • Collaborate with the facility management team to balance aesthetics, information delivery, and visitor engagement, ensuring the most cohesive and functional design solutions.

Vendor Management:

  • Identify, evaluate, and manage external vendors and contractors involved in the architectural design process.
  • Oversee the execution of design projects, ensuring they adhere to quality standards and are completed within set deadlines.

User-Centered Design:

  • Develop designs that prioritize visitor comfort, engagement, accessibility, and safety, enhancing the overall visitor experience.
  • Continuously assess and refine designs based on user feedback and emerging best practices in user-centered design.

Project Diversification:

  • Participate in and contribute to cultural projects that are not directly related to architectural design, applying your design skills and expertise to a variety of initiatives.
  • Adapt to diverse project requirements and collaborate with different teams to ensure successful project outcomes across various domains.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelors degree in interior design, Architectural Design, Engineering, or related field.

Required Professional

  • Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and vendors.
