About the role
In our strategy to support the Emiratisation, we are seeking a proactive Emirati as HR & Recruitment Support to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will have experience in HR practices within the GCC, specifically the UAE and KSA, and will support the HR department in various administrative and operational tasks, including recruitment coordination, employee documentation, and compliance. This role is vital in ensuring HR processes run smoothly and align with local labour laws and company policies.
Responsibilities
Recruitment Support:
Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interview schedules.
Support the onboarding process by preparing new hire documentation, organizing orientation sessions, and ensuring a smooth start for new employees.
Communicate with candidates and hiring managers to ensure a positive recruitment experience.
HR Administration:
Maintain and update employee records, ensuring all data is accurate and compliant with local laws.
Assist in processing employment contracts, offer letters, and other HR-related documents.
Coordinate with the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely submission of payroll data.
Employee Relations Support:
Act as a first point of contact for employee inquiries and requests, directing them to the appropriate HR team members if necessary.
Assist with resolving minor employee issues and escalating complex cases to HR management.
Compliance and Policy Implementation:
Ensure HR processes comply with UAE and KSA labour laws, and assist in implementing policy updates as needed.
Help conduct audits to verify compliance with company policies and local legal requirements.
HR Reporting and Analytics:
Prepare basic HR reports, including employee headcount, turnover rates, and recruitment metrics.
Assist in tracking HR metrics and providing insights to support HR management decisions.
Candidate Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
HR qualifications such as CIPD Level 3 or equivalent certification are preferred.
Experience:
1-2 years of experience in an HR administrative or coordinator role, with exposure to recruitment and employee relations.
Experience working in the GCC, particularly in the UAE and KSA, with an understanding of local labour laws and HR practices.
Hard Skills:
Knowledge of HR principles and best practices, with a focus on GCC-specific employment regulations.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with cultural sensitivity for working in the GCC.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS platforms.
