About the role
The Business Development Coordinator plays a critical operational role in enabling BLR WORLD's growth. The role ensures the seamless execution of all business development activities, from opportunity identification through to proposal delivery and reporting.
Working closely with Country Managers and the Director of BD & Communications, the Coordinator acts as the operational backbone of the function,ensuring that processes, systems, and deliverables are executed accurately, efficiently, and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end business development operations, ensuring smooth execution across monitoring, coordination, reporting, and support activities to enable the Director's strategic focus.
- Monitor procurement and tender portals (UAE, Qatar, KSA & ROW government and semi-government platforms) to identify relevant RFPs/RFQs.
- Triage inbound enquiries (email and web forms), ensuring timely lead assignment and routing.
- Maintain CRM accuracy and pipeline hygiene, including same-day updates of meeting notes and next steps.
- Prepare agendas and supporting materials for internal alignment meetings, including prioritisation of Must-Win and Stuck opportunities.
- Maintain and update the central content library (CVs, images, case studies), ensuring all materials are correctly formatted and up to date.
- Develop proposal timelines, team allocation plans, and manage coordination of active bids.
- Review RFPs and summarise key requirements, while managing full proposal documentation (forms, NDAs, trade licenses, appendices).
- Support and/or lead proposal writing, producing clear, compelling, and client-focused narratives.
- Ensure final proposals are professionally formatted, consistent, and submission-ready prior to final review.
- Manage vendor registrations, proposal templates, and bid library systems, ensuring all documentation, content, and tools are current, structured, and accessible.
- Conduct market and client research to support business development activities and maintain standard content (e.g., company profile, QA, sustainability statements) for reuse.
Experience:
- 5 years+ of experience in a Business Development support, Admin, or Coordinator role.
- Experience with the cultural and creative sector.
- Experience dealing with procurement portals is a plus.
Qualifications & Skills
