About the job Fund Finance Manager
Background
Our client is a leading Korean alternative investment firm with established presence across Asia. While headquartered in Korea, the firm operates a Singapore entity focused on managing dedicated Singapore-based funds and global portfolio investments.
They are now seeking a Finance Manager to lead both Fund Accounting and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) functions for their Singapore-based offshore funds from their Seoul office.

- Achieved over 20% CAGR in Assets Under Management (AUM) over the past 5 years
- Established a solid track record with institutional investors both domestically and internationally
- Secured significant capital commitments for their Singapore offshore funds
- Positioned their Singapore operation as a key strategic hub for APAC investments
This role is based in Seoul with occasional travel to Singapore. It offers a unique opportunity for a finance professional to make a significant impact on the firm's international expansion with competitive compensation including performance-based incentives.
Key Responsibilities
Fund Accounting:
- Oversee accounting operations for Singapore-based offshore funds
- Manage fund financial statement preparation and coordinate external audits
- Ensure compliance with Singapore regulatory requirements and international accounting standards
- Monitor and report on fund performance metrics
- Liaise with fund administrators, custodians, and other service providers
- Prepare investor reporting packages, coordinate capital calls/distributions, and compile regulatory reports for Singapore authorities
Financial Planning & Analysis:
- Develop financial models for investment performance tracking
- Prepare detailed financial analysis for potential investment opportunities
- Create management reports on fund performance and portfolio valuations
- Support strategic planning through financial forecasting
- Collaborate with investment teams to analyze deal structures
- Contribute to investor presentations and due diligence materials
Key Qualifications
Must-Have Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA/ACCA/CFA preferred
- 5+ years of relevant experience in fund accounting, financial analysis, or related roles
- Prior experience in private equity, venture capital, or asset management
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, accounting principles, and fund structures
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency with financial systems
- Fluent bilingual proficiency in both English and Korean (written and verbal)
- Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong communication skills with ability to present complex financial information
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Singapore-based fund operations and comprehensive knowledge of MAS regulatory environment
- Background with Korean financial institutions or investment firms
- Strong understanding of Singapore's regulatory framework for offshore funds and reporting requirements
- Self-starter who can work independently while collaborating across teams
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
