As LNG continues to play a central role in the global energy transition, the company is scaling its project execution capabilities to meet increasing demand. The Projects Director will serve as the senior technical authority overseeing the full lifecycle of EPC projects — from FEED through commissioning — and will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's project delivery standards and organizational capability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide overall technical and managerial leadership across all EPC and EPCI projects, ensuring delivery within scope, schedule, and budget
  • Serve as the primary interface between the company and EPC contractors, engineering firms, and key vendors; manage contractor performance and accountability
  • Lead project risk assessment and mitigation planning throughout project lifecycles
  • Oversee engineering review and approval processes, ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client technical requirements
  • Support project finance and lender technical advisor (LTA) interactions, including technical due diligence and independent engineering reviews
  • Collaborate with Business Development and Commercial teams on project feasibility, cost estimation, and proposal development for new opportunities
  • Build and develop an in-house project execution team; establish internal project management systems and best practices
  • Report directly to C-suite leadership on project status, risks, and strategic decisions

Key Qualifications

  • 15+ years of progressive experience in EPC project management within the oil & gas, LNG, or energy infrastructure sector
  • Proven track record of delivering large-scale offshore or onshore LNG/FSRU projects as a lead or senior project manager
  • Deep familiarity with FEED, detailed engineering, procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning phases
  • Prior experience working with or within EPC contractors, owner's engineer firms, or project development companies
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience interfacing with lenders, technical advisors, and regulatory bodies
  • Full professional proficiency in both Korean and English required
  • Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Naval Architecture, or related Engineering discipline; PE or equivalent professional certification preferred
  • Experience on FSRU or floating LNG (FLNG) projects (Preferred)
  • Exposure to project finance structures and lender technical requirements (Preferred)
