CT Technologist

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist Traveler to join our Computerized Tomography Department in Silver Spring, MD. This is a full-time travel position offering 40 hours per week, with shift timings from 12:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Wednesday through Sunday. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of CT Technologist experience and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT imaging equipment to capture clear, diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
• Accurately position patients for scans based on physician orders and clinical needs.
• Perform routine maintenance and warm-up procedures on CT scanners to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain a sterile and safe environment by cleaning and sanitizing equipment.
• Interpret and follow the physician's scanning instructions carefully.
• Administer contrast agents as needed to enhance image quality.
• Review completed CT scans for technical accuracy and image quality.
• Provide patient education, reassurance, and support throughout the scanning process.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
• Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures and safety standards.
• Experience as a Traveler CT Technologist is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
• Excellent patient care and communication skills.
