Industrial Mechanic – Full-Time | Dover, NJ

Pay: $30.00 – $40.00/hr DOE

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Mechanic to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial machinery. This hands-on role includes fabricating parts, assembling hydraulic systems, and conducting field service visits. Ideal candidates have welding experience and a strong background in machinery diagnostics and assembly.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on industrial equipment.
• Fabricate, assemble, and install new machinery parts as needed.
• Conduct inspections to ensure optimal machine performance.
• Assemble and troubleshoot hydraulic systems.
• Read and interpret mechanical blueprints for assembly and repair.
• Perform field service visits to client sites.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service during on-site visits.

Required Experience & Skills

• Proven experience as an Industrial Mechanic or similar industrial machinery role.
• Welding expertise: TIG and Fusion welding.
• Hydraulic system assembly, troubleshooting, and repair.
• Machinery assembly, rebuilding, and blueprint reading.
• Experience with steel grinding, polishing, bearings, seals, gearboxes, shafts, and motor alignment.
• Limited electrical wiring (motors, switches) experience.
• Valid driver's license for field service visits.
