Industrial Electric Motor Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electric Motor Mechanic to join our Terre Haute facility. In this hands-on role, you will repair, maintain, and test industrial electrical and mechanical equipment, including AC/DC motors, generators, pumps, and gearboxes. This is an excellent opportunity for a trades professional with strong diagnostic and repair skills to grow within a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, disassemble, repair, and test a variety of industrial electrical and mechanical equipment
• Use precision tools such as multimeters, high-pot testers, growlers, micrometers, and calipers for accurate measurement and troubleshooting
• Perform failure analysis and document findings, following proper procedures for part identification, repair, and reassembly
• Conduct both in-house and on-site repairs in compliance with OEM, EASA, and customer specifications
• Maintain accurate records of testing, troubleshooting, and quality control checks
• Follow strict mechanical and electrical safety standards

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience or relevant training (EASA certification or military experience a plus)
• Proven experience with industrial electric motors (automotive experience not applicable)
• Strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills
• Skilled in repair, maintenance, and adherence to safety practices

Preferred Qualifications

• Motor winding experience
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality standards
