CVICU Nurse Practitioner

Join a leading heart and cardiovascular care team in the Texas Medical Center as a CVICU Advanced Practice Provider (APP). This full-time night shift position offers the opportunity to provide specialized care for critically ill patients, particularly those with heart failure, in a fast-paced, collaborative ICU environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to CVICU patients, including those with advanced heart failure.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to manage complex critical care cases.
• Perform patient assessments, develop treatment plans, and implement interventions based on clinical protocols.
• Monitor patient progress, adjust care plans as needed, and respond to emergencies in a timely manner.
• Serve as a key resource for patients, families, and the ICU care team.

Qualifications:

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) required.
• Minimum 23 years of critical care experience (ICU RN or NP).
• Prior experience caring for patients with heart failure.
• Strong desire to work night shifts in the Texas Medical Center.
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and patient management skills.
