CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and motivated CT Technologist to join our CT Scan Department in Albany, NY. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced, supportive, and patient-focused environment, where you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services.

Position Details:

• Department: CT Scan
• Shift: 3:00 PM-  11:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• Hours: 40 per week
• Equipment: Phillips 64 Brilliance
• Environment: High-volume, fun, and collaborative team setting

Responsibilities:

• Operate computerized tomography (CT) equipment to capture accurate diagnostic images.
• Position patients correctly for optimal imaging of specific areas.
• Perform routine CT scanner warm-up and maintenance to extend equipment life.
• Maintain sterilization protocols to ensure patient safety.
• Follow physicians' imaging instructions with precision.
• Administer contrast agents when necessary to enhance scan visibility.
• Review and evaluate scans for image quality and accuracy.
• Educate and reassure patients by explaining procedures and answering questions.
• Utilize EMR (Epic) and PACS (Synapse) systems effectively.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience (hospital or healthcare setting preferred).
• Proficiency with CT imaging equipment and PACS/EMR systems.
• Current certification/license as required by state and regulatory agencies.
• Strong communication, patient care, and teamwork skills.
