Safety Coordinator – Manufacturing (2nd Shift)

Location: Ponca City, OK
Schedule: 2nd Shift | 3:00 PM–12:00 AM (M–F + OT)
Salary: $60,000–$75,000 base + up to 14% bonus

Were hiring a Safety Coordinator to partner with plant leadership and drive a proactive safety culture in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role focuses on hazard prevention, OSHA compliance, safety training, and incident investigations to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with plant leadership to promote a proactive, prevention-focused safety culture
• Assist the Safety Manager with implementing and maintaining OSHA, EHS, and regulatory compliance programs
• Lead incident reporting, investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking
• Develop and deliver monthly safety training and specialized safety programs
• Conduct routine safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments
• Review and improve work practices to reduce safety risks

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of safety experience in manufacturing (assembly, machine shop, industrial, or food manufacturing)
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification (highly preferred)
• Experience delivering safety training and supporting incident investigations
• Ability to work independently, multitask, and make sound safety decisions
• Comfortable working in loud, hot/cold, refrigerated, and industrial environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Food manufacturing experience
• CSP, CIH, or CPE certification
• Prior supervisory experience in high-volume manufacturing
