We are hiring an experienced Welding Engineer to lead welding process development, fixture design, and fabrication for complex metals and stainless steel components. This role combines hands-on welding, R&D, and engineering expertise to improve production quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and optimize welding techniques, procedures, and equipment for complex alloys.
  • Design welding fixtures and implement internal weld pacification methods.
  • Conduct R&D to enhance fabrication processes and evaluate new welding technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with welding standards and codes; oversee inspections and certifications.
  • Collaborate with procurement for welding consumables and outsourced weldment parts.
  • Fixture, weld, and assemble products to customer specifications.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Materials Engineering or Welding Engineering, or 10+ years of welding experience.
  • Level II Visual Weld Inspector certification required.
  • 2–4 years of hands-on welding, including stainless steel work.
  • Proficient in SolidWorks, AutoCAD 2D, and MS Office.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9000 or similar quality systems.
  • Able to work independently in a startup environment.

Schedule & Physical Requirements:

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
  • Light lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing, walking, and hand/wrist activity.
  • Minimal travel required.
