Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electro Mechanic I to join our manufacturing team in Elk Grove Village, IL. This role is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial production equipment to support safe, efficient, and reliable operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain manufacturing equipment and production systems
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and industrial motor control systems
• Support equipment uptime, reliability, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Follow safety procedures and maintenance best practices
• Document maintenance activities and repairs accurately

Required Qualifications

• Industrial manufacturing experience or military experience in maintaining and repairing equipment
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery in a production environment
• PLC troubleshooting experience
• Knowledge of industrial motor controls
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with blown film, sheet extrusion, flexographic printing, lamination, slitting, or related converting/manufacturing equipment
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and production support
