RN Wound Care

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) Wound Care to join our Enterostomal Therapy Department in Silver Spring, MD. This role offers a consistent Monday-Friday schedule (8:00 AM 4:30 PM, 40 hours/week), allowing you to provide specialized wound care while maintaining work-life balance.

The ideal candidate will be experienced in wound management and hold a Wound Care Certification (WCC). This is a rewarding opportunity to work closely with patients, physicians, and the healthcare team to ensure the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care in alignment with healthcare policies, protocols, and best practices.
• Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans.
• Accurately document and communicate patient conditions.
• Serve as the primary care coordinator across multiple disciplines for seamless, patient-centered care.
• Carry out physician and nursing orders promptly and effectively.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess and support discharge planning needs.

Requirements:

• Active RN license (Maryland or compact state).
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience.
• Wound Care Certification (WCC) required.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills.
