Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced District Manager – Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) / Clinical Engineering to serve as the Executive Director supporting the University Hospitals Health System in Cleveland, OH. This role oversees clinical engineering operations across a 23-hospital academic health system, ensuring operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and strong client partnerships. This is a senior leadership role for professionals with experience in HTM, biomedical engineering, and healthcare technology operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Healthcare Technology Management (HTM) and Clinical Engineering operations across multiple hospital locations
  • Serve as the primary executive contact for the health system client
  • Drive operational excellence, financial performance, and business growth
  • Develop and mentor clinical engineering and HTM leadership teams
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and healthcare regulatory standards
  • Oversee budgets, risk management, and performance reporting
  • Implement cybersecurity awareness and protection strategies for medical devices and healthcare systems
  • Build strong client relationships and governance structures

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of leadership experience in Healthcare Technology Management (HTM), Clinical Engineering, or Biomedical Engineering
  • Experience managing HTM operations in a large healthcare or hospital environment
  • Strong business leadership, budgeting, and operational management skills
  • Knowledge of medical device cybersecurity and healthcare technology risk management

Preferred Skills

  • Experience leading multi-site hospital or health system HTM operations
  • Strong client relationship management and executive leadership skills
  • Ability to lead diverse teams and drive continuous improvement
