Resident District Manager – K-12 Food Service

About the Role:
We are seeking a strategic and energetic Resident District Manager to oversee the Salem-Keizer School District, Oregon's 2nd largest district with 43,000+ students across 64 locations. This leadership role drives operational excellence, team engagement, and community-focused food service programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day district operations, including on-site and remote teams.
• Ensure high-quality food service, safety, and sanitation compliance.
• Achieve financial targets and operational goals.
• Build and maintain strong client, student, and staff relationships.
• Develop and execute strategic plans for growth and efficiency.
• Mentor and lead staff to meet company standards and performance expectations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience in K–12 or large-scale food service operations.
• Culinary production background with strong safety and sanitation knowledge.
• Proven leadership and employee engagement skills.
• Strong financial, analytical, and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Proficient with Food Management Systems (FMS) and The Market Connection (TMC).
